Three’s a Charm

“But when I couldn’t care for them, the wonderful nurses at Woman’s did."

As crazy as it sounds, I was one of three mothers to deliver triplets on the same day at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas. That alone should resolve any doubt anyone has about how special a place this is.

I had been on bed rest for so long, so when it was time to deliver, I was more than ready to meet the three new additions to our family: Noah, Emma, and Carter. When they arrived, all three immediately went to the NICU. That’s one thing about being a mother of multiples that many women can’t relate to—we don’t get to leisurely cuddle up with our babies, and we don’t get to keep them with us in our room. But when I couldn’t care for them, the wonderful nurses at Woman’s did.

To this day, those women remain close family friends, and will for a lifetime. I am healthy today because of them. My children are healthy today because of them. Our family is vibrant and happy because of them.

The Woman’s Hospital of Texas can offer the best specialists and technology. I witnessed it firsthand. But they also go above and beyond to provide care in a personalized and compassionate way.
